This book attempts to address the issue of terrorism in the context of India. Presenting an overview of terrorism in the country, it discusses at length the major terrorist attacks, role of Pakistan in fuelling terrorism in India, role of America in the creation of Al Qaida, Indian policy towards terrorism and ways to tackle it. The issue of violation of human rights by armed forces is dealt with as well.
Yasir Hussain (1976-) is a journalist qualified from the Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. He regularly writes for different magazines and newspapers on socio-political issues. Also, he has to his credit four books, namely—“Congress Voted to Power Why?”, “Corruption Free India: Fight to Finish”, “India’s Unending War against Terrorism” and “SAFTA: Potential and Challenges”.
