This Order Cancellation Policy applies to physical printed books supplied directly by Shhalaj Publishing House through its websites and authorised sales channels.
Customers may request cancellation of an order before processing, packing, procurement, printing, dispatch, or other fulfilment activities have commenced.
Submission of a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee cancellation.
Orders are normally eligible for cancellation if fulfilment activities have not yet begun.
Where cancellation is approved, the order shall be cancelled and any applicable refund processed in accordance with the Refund, Returns & Replacement Policy.
Orders may not be eligible for cancellation once any of the following has occurred:
Where an order contains multiple items, Shhalaj Publishing House may permit cancellation of items that have not yet entered fulfilment while proceeding with items already being processed.
If an item becomes unavailable before dispatch, Shhalaj Publishing House may cancel that item and refund or adjust the corresponding amount paid.
Any Loyalty Points redeemed against the cancelled item may be proportionately restored.
Approved cancellation refunds may be processed through the original payment method or another reasonable method determined by Shhalaj Publishing House.
Refund processing times may vary depending upon payment providers, banking systems, and financial institutions.
Shhalaj Publishing House reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests, suspend accounts, or take appropriate action where repeated cancellations, misuse, fraud, abuse, or other irregular activity is detected.
All decisions relating to cancellation requests shall be made by Shhalaj Publishing House and shall be final.
