Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy applies to physical printed books supplied by Shhalaj Publishing House through its websites and authorised sales channels.

1. Shipping Coverage

At present, direct online ordering is available for delivery within India only.

International shipping is not currently available through standard website checkout. Customers seeking international delivery may contact Shhalaj Publishing House for a quotation and further assistance.

2. Order Processing and Dispatch

Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 24 business hours after successful payment confirmation.

Business Days mean Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays observed in India.

Orders received on weekends, public holidays, or outside normal business hours may be processed on the next Business Day.

3. Availability of Books

Most books are normally available for immediate processing and dispatch.

Occasionally, a title may become temporarily unavailable, require replenishment, require special procurement, or require additional processing time before dispatch.

If a significant delay is expected, Shhalaj Publishing House may contact the customer regarding the status of the order.

4. Courier and Delivery Partners

Orders may be delivered through one or more courier, logistics, postal, fulfilment, or delivery partners selected by Shhalaj Publishing House.

Delivery partners may vary depending upon destination, service availability, operational requirements, and other factors.

5. Delivery Time

Delivery times vary depending upon destination, courier network, local conditions, weather, public holidays, transportation disruptions, and other factors beyond our control.

Any delivery estimates provided by courier or logistics partners are indicative only and are not guaranteed delivery commitments.

6. Tracking Information

Where available, tracking information may be provided through email, SMS, WhatsApp, customer account dashboard, or other communication channels after dispatch.

Availability of tracking information may depend upon the courier or logistics partner used for a particular shipment.

7. Split Shipments

Shhalaj Publishing House may, at its discretion, dispatch an order in one or more shipments where operationally necessary.

Where split shipments are initiated by Shhalaj Publishing House, no additional shipping charges shall be payable by the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise.

8. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping information.

Shhalaj Publishing House shall not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional costs arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or incorrect address information provided by the customer.

9. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment is returned because of refusal to accept delivery, incorrect address information, non-availability of the recipient, failure to receive delivery, or other customer-related reasons, additional charges may apply for re-dispatch.

Any refund arising from such circumstances may be subject to deductions permitted under the Commercial Policy.

10. Policy Updates

This Shipping Policy may be amended, revised, suspended, or replaced from time to time at the discretion of Shhalaj Publishing House.
