Uday Kumar

Dr Uday Kumar is presently working on the project ‘Socio-linguistics of English in Urban India’ at the Centre for English Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Earlier he has taught English Language and Literature at Shri Aurobindo College (Evening), University of Delhi, and at the Department of Linguistics, M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. Also, the was awarded the fellowship of Indian Institute of Advanced Study where he worked on the topic ‘Multi-lingualism, Cultural Identity and National Integration: A Case Study of the North-Eastern States of India.’
